Josh Del was born in a small desert town on the outskirts of Palm Springs,CA. He began learning music and writing songs in the third grade. Due to the desert temperatures being so hot in the summer, Josh spent that time indoors, refining his craft. It is there he developed his genre-bending sound that is a blend between Americana, Roots Rock and Blues.
In 2021 he signed a deal with Wixen Music Publishing, a company that represents the catalogs of Tom Petty, The Black Keys and Weezer. In 2020 he released a song titled Friend, which featured US Gold Medal Olympian, Laurie Hernandez; the song went on to reach #27 on the iTunes charts. Josh has created original music for documentary films such as When The Lights Went Down, starring the late Wilford Brimley. As an early adopter of live-streaming music, Josh Del has found a home for his live shows on Reddit’s Public Access Network, with streams often hitting over 100k in total viewership.
